CHINA AUTHORIZES CHILE THE ENTRY OF "NATURAL CONDITION"

According to Chile Prunes Association, after years of negotiations between the agricultural authorities of Chile and China, the export of 'natural condition' plums with kiln-drying process has finally been authorized.

Although in 2010 Chile was authorized to send the "tiernized" dehydrated plum, that is to say, as a finished product to China, the interest was also to obtain the admissibility of sending these products under 'natural condition', that is to say, dry without tenderizing, Because it is the most important that country, since they are occupied as raw material in their own processes.
